ELLE partners with Magnum Ice Cream to publish the 2020 list of global movers and shakers
Global fashion and luxury media brand ELLE has announced a partnership with MAGNUM Ice cream for the publication of its annual celebration of new leaders and game-changers dubbed The ELLE List 2020.
The list recognizes and celebrates this year’s new leaders, and movers and shakers reframing the worlds of fashion, beauty, politics, culture and beyond.
Among those who have made it to the he list of fifty innovators include: Premier League footballer, Marcus Rashford, who prompted the government to do a monumental U-turn on free school meals; Lashana Lynch, the first Black female 00 agent in the James Bond franchise; author Bernardine Evaristo, who made history when she became the first Black woman to be awarded the Booker Prize, for her eighth book, Girl, Woman, Other; and two previously unknown actors who stole the hearts of an entire nation, Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones from Normal People.
The ELLE List is compiled by a panel of prestigious judges – ELLE Editor-in-Chief Farrah Storr, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, actor Gemma Chan, fashion educator and advocate Sinéad Burke, author Candice Carter-Williams and model/activist Munroe Bergdorf– who selected the final fifty names.
Each year the list marks ELLE’s commitment to using its voice to shout about brave and brilliant new voices who are changing the world for the better. It celebrates talent from around the world, including fashion designers, actors, artists, musicians, athletes, activists, photographers, beauty heroes and hell-raisers of every kind. MAGNUM ice cream is a champion of individuality and living fearlessly, which makes them a perfect partner for the ELLE List.
